SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
TUESDAY, JANUARY 13, 1998

SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Mayor Dougall called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. Mayor Pro Tern Lady,
Council Members Fuller, Runels, Tolley, City Manager Hunt and City Attorney Carmel
were present.
None.
2. CLOSED SESSION:
Mayor Dougall announced that the Council was going to meet in closed session to
discuss the following matters:
(a) PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT pursuant to Government Code Section 54957:
Title: Parks and Recreation Director
(b) CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - Anticipated Litigation: Initiation of
litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c) involving one (1)
potential case.
(c) CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - Anticipated Litigation: Significant
exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.(b)
involving two (2) potential cases.
(d) CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - Existing Litigation: Pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.9(a).
Name of Case: Unspecified: Disclosure would jeopardize existing settlement
negotiations.
3 RECONVENE TO REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING:
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 P.M. to the regular City Council meeting.
4 CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Mayor Dougall announced that there was no re o a action from the closed
session.
