MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
This Agreement between the City of Arroyo Grande, hereinafter referred to
as City, and Frank Kazuyoski Sakamoto, Robert Yoshito Sakamoto, a single man, and
Chiyoko Sakavwto, a single woman, each as to an undivided one-third interest, here-
inafter referred to as Owners, refera to the following described property:
Lot 17 of Pismo Beach Gardens, in the County
of San Luis Obispo, State of California,
according to the Map recorded September 3,
1924 in Book 3, Page 45 of Maps, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said County.
In conaideration for City attempting to provide a aolution to Owners flood
drainage problem, Owners agree to grant to the City of Arroyo Grande an eas�ent
for drainage purpoaes across the easterly 2S feet of Lot 17 of Pismo Beach Gardens
together with the right of ingress and egress for maintenance purposes.
City agrees to the following:
1. Grade a 25 foot wide easement with:'10 foot bottom width and 2:1 side
slopes as per plans entitled "Farroll Ave. Drainage Plans" attached hereto, to con-
duct drainage water from Farroll Ave., northerly onto that forty acre parcel of
property owned by the City of Arroyo Grande being a portion of Lot 106 of the
Rancho Corral de Piedra,
2. To place soil excavated from the easement area on the southerly portion of
Owners property to contain drainage water within said drainage easement.
3. Relocate Owners existing irrigation line presently in the way of excavation
referred to in Paragraph 1 hereof, to an agreed upon location adjacent to said ease-
ment.
4. Control erosion and maintain said easement in a manner adequate to permit
Owners vehicular access to and across said easement.
5. Provide access gate on Farroll Ave, as per plans,
6. Have all work completed prior to July 30, 1975.
7. The City of Arroyo Grande further agrees to use the easement for the trans-
porting of drainage water from Farroll Ave. to drainage facilities provided to
accomodate this drainage water on City property.
