IN CONSIDERATION of the betterment of the City of Arzoyo
for the purpose of making a gift to snid City, the�under-

J. 0. PENCE AND JERALDINE P. PENCE� husband and wi£e
hezeby quitclaim to the City of Arroyo Grande, n municipal corporation,
� the following described real pzoperty to be used exclusively for public
parking purposes and/or ingress and egress to properties being used ex-
clueively for public parking purposes.
Snid property is more pnrticulazly described as follows:
See "Exhibit A", attached, consisting of one (1) page.
The pzopezty hereby conveyed shall be used only for the purpo��s
epecifically hereinabove aet forth in accordance with such rules and
regulationa aS may from time to time be set forth by ihe said City of
Azroyo Grande. In the event said property, or any portion thereof,
ehould be used for any puzpose other than herein designated, and, •uch
use �hould •cont3nue for a period of thirty days following vtittan
notice,by the Grantors oz their successors in interest, to the City of
Arroyo Grande, the intezest herein conveyed to the City of Azroyo
Grande shall terminate.

All that portion of Lot 2 in Block 1 of the Short, Mason and Whitely Tract,
in the City of Azroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obiepo, State of California,
according to the map thereof filed October l, 1887 in the office of the 8ounty
Recorder of snid county described in deed to J, 0. Pence and Jernldine P. Pence,
husband and wi£e, zecorded February 17th, 1960 in Volume 1048 at Page 417 records
of eaid County lying Southerly of "A" Line ns said "A" Line is delineated on a
Recozd of Survey Map recorded December 6, 1968 in Book 16 of Licensed Survey
Mapa at Page 82, zecorde of said County, said "A" Line is described as followe,
beginning at the interaection of the centerline of Branch Street with the center-
line of Shori Street as shown on said Recard of Survey; thence along the center-
line of Short Street South 33 East 137.91 feet to the intersection of the
Nottheaeterly extension of "A" Line with the said centerline of Short Street;
thence along said Northeasterly extension of "A" Line South 58 West 30.01
feet to the Southweaterly line of Short Street and the true point of beginning;
thence continuing South 58 West 465.48 feet to the Noztheasterly line of
Bridge Street as shown on said Record of Survey.
