CAUDILL and PATRICIA M. CAUDILL, hereinafter called Grantors, and the CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, hereinafter called City: W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, Grantors have executed an Easement Deed dated November 28, 1972, in £avor of City, and it is the intention of Grantors and City that certain street sur£acing work will be done on the area of said easement, NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration for the execution of said Easement Deed, it is agreed that City hereby indem- nifies and will hold harmless owners for any and all claims for losses which may be made against said Grantors as a result, either directly or indirectly, from the construction work which will take place with City's construction, reconstruction, repair, maintenance or operation o£ a storm drain under the terms o£ said Easement Deed, or street surfacing work on said easement property. CAUDILL, husband and wife as joint tenants hereby CRANT(S) to The City of Arroyo Grande, a Municipal Corporation the following described real property in the City of Arroyo Grande County of San Luis Obispo , State of California: An easement over the hereinafter described real property for the purposes of construction, reconstruction, repair, maintenance and operation of a storm drain line together with all appurtenances thereto for use by the Grantee for the drainage of storm water. Said easement to be a strip of land 15.00 feet in width over a portion of Lots 2 and 3 of J. F, Becketts Grand Avenue Tract in the City of Arroyo Grande according to map filed September 29, 1891 in Book B of Maps at Page 75 in the office of the County Recorder, County of San Luis Obispo, State of Califirnia, lying 7_50 feet on each side of the following described line: Commencing at a point in the South line of Grand Avenue, as conveyed to the County of San Luis Obispo by deed recorded May 13, 1913 in Book 97 of Deeds at Page 94, said point being the northwest corner of Tract No. 10 as shown on map recorded in Book 5 of Maps at Page 28, records of said County; thence along the westerly line of said Tract 10, South 3°13'30" West 523.77 feet to the true point of beginning. Thence North 86°46' West 290.22 feet to a point on the westerly line of the Land conveyed to William A. Keelor et ux by deed recorded December 7, 1937 in Book 224 at Page 329 of Official Records of said county.
