WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of California has, pursuant to Government Code
Sections 66458, 66462, and 66477.1, provided that legislative bodies may designate an
official with authority to approve or disapprove final subdivisions maps, accept, accept
subject to improvement, or reject related offers of dedication, and enter into agreements
to complete required subdivision improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, through adoption of Ordinance No. 502 C.S., has designated
the City Engineer as the Official with the authority to approve or disapprove final
subdivision maps, accept, accept subject to improvement, or reject related offers of
dedication, and enter into agreements to complete subdivision improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the final map for Tract 1997 on June, 24, 1997, and
the map was subsequently recorded on July 8, 1997; and
WHEREAS, offers to dedicate right of way and easements to the public were provided on
the final map for Tract 1997; and,
WHEREAS, the developer has constructed the improvements required by the Tract
conditions of approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the City Engineer of the City of Arroyo
Grande does hereby accept the public improvements constructed for Tract 1997, and
accepts the following offers of dedication and public easements, as shown on the final map
for Tract 1997, recorded July 8, 1997, in book 18 of maps, at page 19 in the office of the
recorder of the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California:
1. Clinton Court, Jenny Place, Andre Drive, Matthew Way, and Rosemary Court;
2. Open Space Easement over Lot 57; and,
3. Easements for sewer, water, storm drains, street trees, and multi-use paths.
