(Exhibit "A") (APPROVED BY L.A.F.C) VOL �t-.U5P"GE ( CERTIFIED BY COUNTY SURVEYOR) ;48 RESOLUTION NO. 1423 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE ANNEXING CHILTON STREET ANNEXATION NO. 1 TO THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE WHEREAS, a proposal for annexation to the City of Arroyo Grande was filed with the San Luis Obispo County Local Agency Formation Commission for annexation; and WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 79 -11, dated October 18, 1979, the Local Agency Formation Commission gave its approval to said annexation, designating said annexation as "Chilton Street Annexation No. 1 to the City of Arroyo Grande ", finding that all persons owning property within the area to be annexed had consented to said annexation, and authorizing this Council to annex said territory without further notice, hearing, or election, pursuant to Government Code section 56261; and WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that the territory described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, be annexed to the City of Arroyo Grande, without further notice, hearing or election. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and ORDERED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, as follows: 1. That it is hereby determined that all proceedings prior to this Resolution in regard to this annexation were valid and in conformity with the laws relating thereto. 2. That it be and is hereby found by this Council that the annexation of the territory described in Exhibit A, attached hereto, to the City of Arroyo Grande will be for the interest of the landowners or present or future inhabitants of the City of Arroyo Grande. 3. That the boundaries of the City of Arroyo Grande be and are hereby altered to include therein the territory described in Exhibit A, attached hereto. 4. That the Arroyo Grande City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the Assessor and with the State Board of Equalization the statement and map, as required by Government Code Sections 54900, et seq., and to file with the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission a certified copy of this Resolution as required by Government Code Section 56450, et seq.
