WHEREAS, the State of California has acquired right of
way for and has constructed a frontage road in the City of j\a

Arroyo Grande, at the east end of the north frontage road at

the Brisco Road Interchange, road 05 -SLO- 101 -13.7; and
WHEREAS, by letter dated October 11, 1978, the City
agreed to accept title to a frontage road, upon relinquishment
thereof to said City by the State of California; and
WHEREAS, this Commission has found and determined, and
does hereby find and determine, that it is desirable and in the
public interest that said collateral facilities be relinquished
to the City of Arroyo Grande for use as a city street;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS VOTED by the California Transpor-
tation Commission that it relinquish, and it does hereby relinquish,
to the City of Arroyo Grande, effective upon the recordation of a
certified copy hereof with the Recorder of San Luis Obispo County,
all of the State of California's right, title and interest in and
to said collateral facilities in said City, together with the
right of way and appurtenances thereof, described as follows:

That portion of collateral facility in the City of Arroyo
. Grande described as follows:
That part of the portion of Lot 75 of the James T. Stratton's
Subdivision of the Ranchos Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bolsa de
Chamisal, in the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo,
State of California, conveyed to the State of California by deed
from Evelene V. Lovacz, recorded March 14, 1957 in Volume 884,
page 110 of Official Records of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly terminus of course 6 described
in said deed; thence (1), southeasterly, along said course, S. 66°
04' 40" E., 85.01 feet; thence (2), N. 23 55' 20" E., 19.83 feet
to the southeasterly terminus of course 4 described in said deed;
thence (3), along said course, N. 24 20' 28" W., 99.45 feet to
the northeasterly terminus of course 5 described in said deed;
thence (4), along said course, being also the westerly city
line as referred to in said deed, S. 31 08' 09" W., 86.72 feet
to the point of beginning.
Excepting and Reserving to the State of California any and all
rights of ingress to and egress from the highway to be relinquished
in and to the adjacent and adjoining freeway, except at such points
as now or may be established by the California Transportation Commissio
THIS IS TO CERTIFY That the foregoing is a full and correct
copy of the original resolution duly passed by the California
Transportation Commission at its meeting regularly called and
held on the 26th day of January, 1979, in the city of
San Bernardino.
