RESOLUTION NO. 1782
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE GRANTING A USE PERMIT, CASE NO.
84-374, APPLIED FOR BY C & T WELDING FOR A
TRAILER REPAIR FACILITY AT 101 TRAFFIC WAY IN
THE HIGHWAY SERVICE DISTRICT, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande has considered
an application filed by C & T Welding to permit a light welding and trailer
repair facility at 101 Traffic Way in the Highway Service District; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that, after due study. deliberation and
public hearing, the following circumstances exist:
1. Consistent with the General Plan.
2. Consistent with the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance.
3. Has been reviewed by Staff Advisory Committee.
4. Will have no adverse affect on the surrounding area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande hereby approves said Use Permit subject to Standard Conditions,
and the following Special Conditions:
1. Subject to review and renewal in six months.
2. That the parking lot be paved so that the required two parking spaces
be identified (10 ft. x 20 ft. minimum requirements).
3. That a landscaping plan, including methods for irrigation, be pro-
vided for the approval of the Parks Director prior to issuance of
building permit.
4. Paving, widening if appropriate, curb, gutter and sidewalk shall be
installed at standards subject to the approval of the Public Works
Director prior to occupancy.
5. That all storage be within the existing building or at the rear of
the property, and screened by an opague wall from Traffic Way.
6. No flammables shall be stored on the premises without the express
approval on a case to case basis of the Fire Chief.
7. A screen wall and/or landscaping shall be provided along Traffic Way
subject to the approval of the Architectural Review Committee and
the Police Department.
8. Condition No.4 above to be completed at the end of the six months
period with the posting of a $3500 cash performance bond, prior to
issuance of building permit.
On motion of Councilman Gallagher, seconded by Mayor Smith, and on the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Gallagher, Hogan, Millis, Vandeveer and Mayor Smith

ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 24th day of July 1984.
