SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL

SPECIAL :IL MEETING
Mayor Dougall called the meeting to order at 6:45 P.M. Council Members Fuller,
Runels, Tolley, City Manager Hunt and City Attorney Carmel were present.
2. CLOSED SESSION:
Mayor Dougall announced that the Council was going to meet in closed session to
discuss the following matters:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR pursuant to Government Code
Section 54957.6
Agency negotiator: Robert L. Hunt
Unrepresented employees: All
2. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR pursuant to Government Code
Section 54957:6
Agency negotiator: Robert L. Hunt
Represented units: Police Officers Association
3. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL -- existing litigation; pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.9(a)
A. Name of case: Ruiz v City of Arroyo Grande, et al.; San Luis Obispo
Superior Court No. 980118
B. Name of case: unspecified: disclosure would jeopardize existing settlement
negotiations.
Mayor Pro Tern Lady appeared just after the public comment period and was present for
the entire closed session.
3. RECONVENE TO REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING:
The meeting was adjourned at 7:31 P.M. to the regular City Council meeting.
4. CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Mayor Dougall announced that there was no reportable action from the closed
session.
