SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
TUESDAY, JUNE 9, 1998
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 215 EAST BRANCH STREET
ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA
SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Mayor Dougall called the meeting to order at 6:45 P.M. Mayor Pro Tern Lady,
Council Members Fuller, Runels, City Manager Hunt and City Attorney Carmel were
present.
2. CLOSED SESSION:
Mayor Dougall announced that the Council was going to meet In closed session to
discuss the following matters:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR pursuant to Government Code
Section 54957.6
Agency negotiator: Daniel Hernandez
Represented units: Police Officers Association
2. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL -- existing litigation; pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.9(a)
A. Name of case: (jilliara v City of Arroyo n ,s al_; U.S. District
Court, Central District, No. CV 96-2993 RMT
Council Member Tolley appeared at 6:47 P.M.
3. RECONVENE TO REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING:
The meeting was adjourned at 7:23 P.M. to the regular City Council meeting.

Mayor Dougall announced that there was no reporta"actionm the +closed
