RESOLUTION NO. 1770
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR THE
CENTRAL FOURSQUARE CHURCH IN THE P-D DISTRICT
SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has
considered an application for a church facility filed by the Central
Foursquare Church; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that after due study, delibera-
tion and public hearing that the following circumstances existed:
1. There was not sufficient water to serve this project.
2. There was not sufficient sewage treatment plant capacity
to serve this project.
3. That traffic congestion would be increased.
WHEREAS, an appeal has been filed to the Planning Commission's denial
of the Use Permit request; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing and determined that:
1. There is sufficient water to serve this project.
2. There is sufficient sewage treatment plant capacity to
serve this project.
3. That traffic congestion will not be increased; and
circumstances justify the issuance of said Use Permit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Arroyo Grande approves Use Permit No. 84-368, for the Central Foursquare
Church, subject to the standard conditions of the City of Arroyo Grande, and
those special conditions set forth in Staff Report dated May 15, 1984.
On motion of Council Member Millis, seconded by Council Member Hogan,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Gallagher, Hogan, Millis, Vandeveer and Mayor Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 26th day of June 1984.
