RESOLUTION NO. 1528
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE HONORING TERRY MINSHULL, MAYOR
PRO TEM OF THE CITY OF EL PASO DE ROBLES ON HIS
RETIREMENT FROM PUBLIC SERVICE TO THE CITY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, TERRY MINSHULL, Mayor Pro Tem of the City of El Paso de
Robles, wIll be retirIng after twelve years of service to this CIty; and
WHEREAS, he has been Instrumental In making the CIty of EI Paso de
Robles the highly desirable community that It Is today; and'
WHEREAS, TERRY has always served and administered. his public servIce
with dedIcatIon, professIonalism and diplomacy; and
WHEREAS, during these twelve years TERRY has been Involved with
many projects which have benefited the CIty of EI Paso de Robles, as well
as the entire North County of San LuIs Obispo, I.e.:
Member of the Naclmento-San AntonIo Area Planning Council;
Member of the San Luis Obispo County SolId Waste CommIttee;
ChaIrman of San Luis Obispo County Area Council of Governments
for a period of one year;
Chairman of the San .Luis Obispo Airport Land Use Committee for two
indIvidual terms; and
,
Member of the City's Planning CommIssion for four years; and
WHEREAS, during this period of time TERRY MINSHULL was also active
in community groups and organizations, I.e.:
Member of the Jaycees; Member of the Rotary Club and served as Rotary
President in 1976-77; Member and also Director of the Paso Robles Trail Riders,
Member of the Board of Directors of the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce, and
Member of the Paso Robles Business CommIttee; and others; and
WHEREAS, to further serve his community TERRY has been a member of
the City's Fire Department and is presently serving as Fire Captain;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That it recognizes the accomplishments of TERRY MINSHULL as Council
Member and Mayor Pro Tem of El Paso de Robles and as a devoted citizen to
his community; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande wishes continued health, contentment and good wishes to TERRY MINSHULL.
On motion of Council Member Smith, seconded by CouncIl Member Vandeveer,
and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Smith, Hogan, Millis, Vandeveer, Mayor Pope
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 23rd day 'of March, 1982.
