RESOLUTION NO. 1469
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION
OF ROBLES ROAD (STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SECTION
8323, ET SEQ.)
WHEREAS, the City Counci I of the Ci ty of Arroyo Grande has elected /
to proceed under provisions of Streets and Highways Code Section 8321. et seq.,
and in accordance with the provisions thereof, by resolution, the Arroyo
Grande City Council set the time and place for public hearing of protests
for the vacation of said City street at 8:00 P.M., April 14, 1981, in the
Arroyo Grande City Council Chambers; and I
WHEREAS, the City Council has found, on the basis of evidence'
produced at the publ ic hearing, that the hereinafter described publ ic street
is unnecessary for present or future public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the hereinafter described Arroyo
Grande City Street be abandoned and it is so ordered.
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo,
California, being' a portion of Oak Street as delineated
on the map of Tract No. 46, recorded in Book 5 of Maps,
Page 64, records of said County, descdbed as fol1ows:
Beginning at the most Easterly corner of Lot 6, Block 4.
of said Tract 46, said corner being on the Northwesterly
right of way line of said Oak Street; thence, along said
Northwesterly line. N. 320 12' E. 115.00 feet to the most
Easterly corner of Parcel B of Parcel Map CO 75-270.
as recorded in Book 21 of Parcel Maps at Page 24, records
of said County; thence, S. 570 48' E. 20.00 feet to the
centerline of said Oak Street; thence, along said centerline
N. 320 12' E. 15.49 feet to a point at right angles to
and 20.00 feet from the most Northerly corner of Lot I,
Block 5, Tract 46; thence, S. 570 48' E. 20.00 feet to
said Northerly corner, said corner being on the Southeasterly
right of way line of said Oak Street; thence, along said
Southeasterly line, S. 320 12' W. 130.49 feet to the
Northeasterly line of that portion of said Oak Street
abandoned by Resolution No. 1184 recorded in Book 1861
at Page 372, Official Records of said County; thence
N. 57 48' W. 40.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Reserving therefrom over the entire parcel an easement for
the purpose of drainage, water, sewer and utilities and the right
to construct, maintain, operate. replace. renew, remove and
enlarge said lines, including access thereto.
On motion of Council Member Smith, seconded by Council Member
Vandeveer, and on the following roll call vote, to wit: I
