RESOLUTION NO. 92-1395
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF. THE CITY OF
ARROYO GRANDE PROVIDING AN INTERPRETATION OF THE
DEVELOPMENT CODE REGARDING 1203 GRAND AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Development Code was adopted by the City Council on May 14, 1991,
and became effective on 7une 13, 1991; and
WHEREAS, Section 9-01.110 (G)(3) of the Development Code provides the Planning
Commission with the authority to clarify ambiguities in the Title; and
W�IEREAS, Section 9-03.050(B) indicates when a change in use requires a conditional
use permit; and
VVHEREAS, The Planning Commission has received a request for interpretation of
whether changing the use of the property at 1203 Grand Avenue to professional office requires
a conditional use permit; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after due research and deliberation finds that:

A professional office is less intensive than the previous auto related use of the
site.
"Exisdng Use" is interpreted to be Service Station.
NOW, TH�REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City
of Anoyo Grande hereby makes the interpretation that the proposed change in use may be
accomplished through the plot plan review, architectural review, and sign application process.
On motion by Commissioner Soto, seconded by Commissioner Tappan, and by the
following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Soto, Tappan, Carr, Moore, Souza, Reilly, and Chairman

NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 17th day of November, 1992.
