GJERDRL'Rrl AT 345 SO. HAI.�(..'YON RQAD . WI�tEAS, the Planning Comnission of the City of Arroyo Grande has considered an application by Dr. T. J. Gjerdrwn�::for a Planned Sign Program at 345 So. Halcyon Road in the P-C zone; and � Wf�2FAS, the Planning Coamussion has found that this project is consistent with the General Plan and the Ehvironmental Docwnents associated therewith; and WHERFAS, the project has been found to be exeinpt from the provisions of the California �vironmental Quality Act (CEQA) per Section 15311; and WI�F�1S, the Planning Corn�ussion finds, after due study, deliberation and public hearing, the following circwnstances exist: 1. The proposed signs are Section 9-4.2407 of the Sign Prograrns . consistent with the intent and purpose of Zoning Ordinance as it relates to Planned 2. The proposed signs are visually coarrpatible with the buildings they identify by utilizinq materials, colors or design motif included in the building. 3. Proposed signs cample�nent other existing or proposed signs on the site by using co�mlon design elements, such as materials, letter style, colors, illtunination, sign type or shape. 4. Proposed signs are compatible with surrounding land uses and will not obscure adjacent conforming signs. N(�1, Tf�pRE, BE IT RF.SOLVID that the Planning Coannission of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby approves said Planned Sign Program, suk�ject to appropriate standard conditions of the City of Arroyo Grande, and the f.ollowing special conditions: General Canditioa�s 1. The applicant shall ascertain and camply with all State, County and City requirements as are applicable to this project. 2, Development shall occur in substantial conformance with the plans presented to the Planning Conn►ission at the meeting of May 15, 1990 and marked "Exhibit A" with the following changes: "Colors shall be in conforrn�lce with color board "C" for Architectural Review Case 89-440."
