RESOLUTION N0. 66-38 U
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE GRANTING A USE PERMIT
AND RECONAQENDING ITS APPROVAL BY THE CITY
COUNCIL, CASE N0. 93-66.

The Planning Commission finds that the Use Permit applied for by
Dr, and Mrs. T. F. McKellar at 400 Frontage Road meets the requirements
of the Arroyo Grande Zoning Ordinance No. 157 as amended by Ordinance
No. 196 to allow for a Medical Laboratory and Office in a RA-B3 Zone,
on the following described property: In Western Additian - Lots 18, 19,
21, 22 and 23 in Block 6, and grants said Use Permit subject to the
following conditions:
1, That curb, gutter and sidewalks be required to City specifications
along all public street frontage and if grades can not be provided
at this time, cash be deposited with the City in lieu thereof,
2, Sewer and water to be arranged with the City Director of Public
Works.
3. Plans be submitted to the Planning Commission for Architectural
Approval prior to the issuance of a Building Permit.
4. Approval by the City Council as required by Ordinance No. 196,
FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:
l, That this use will not be detrimental to abutting properties or
other existing land uses in the area,
2, This use is compatible to the adopted Land Use Element of the
General Plan.
3. Proposed use will be beneficial to the City and to the area pro-
posed.
On motion of Commissioner McMillen, seconded by Commissioner
Schultz, and by the following roll call vote, to-wit:
AYES: Commissioners McMillen, Porter, Schultz, Visser and
Chairman Strother.
NOES: None. '
ABSENT: Commissioner Duvall.
ABSTAIN: Commissioner Dextere
the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 20th day of September, 1966.
