AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING A
PORTION OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
REFERRED TO IN SECTION .302 OF TITLE 9, CHAPTER 4 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN
THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That certain Ordinance known as "ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE" is herewith &mended as follows:
The "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", referred to in Section .302
of Title 9, Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code is amended so that the zones and
boundaries of certain Districts shown therein and thereon are changed so as to
be the zones and boundaries as shown and designated on the Map attached hereto,
and by this reference incorporated herein, which Map is entitled "A SECTION OF
THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE, AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 62 C.S.
OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE", and said Map and all notations and references
shown thereon shall be as much a part of this Ordinance as if the matters shown
on said Map were all fully described herein, and the Districts and zones and
boundaries of the property shown therein from and after the effective date of
the adoption of this Ordinance. The properties intended to be rezoned and the
changes in the zoning accomplished hereby are described as follows:
In the City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of Cali-
fornia, that portion of Lowe's Addition to the Town of Arroyo Grande and
Cypress St. (abandoned) as per the map thereof recorded in Book B, Page 8
of Maps recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, and
a portion of Lot 104 of James T. Stratton's Subdivision of parts of the
Ranchos Corral de Piedra, Pismo and Bo1sa de Chamisa1 as per map recorded
in Book A of Maps at Page 65 in the Office of the County Recorder of said
County, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot 12 of said Lowe's Additionj
thence northwesterly along the southwesterly line of said Lot 12 to the
most easterly corner of that parcel of said Lot 104 deeded to Buzz
Langenbeck and Wife by deed dated August 27, 1964 and recorded in Book 1312
at Page 549 of Official Records; thence southwesterly along the south-
easterly line to the most southerly corner thereof; thence northwesterly
along the southwesterly line thereof to a point on the southerly line of
Traffic Way (formerly State Highway 101) as said street exists as of
October 1, 1971; thence easterly and southeasterly along said southerly
line of Traffic Way across the said Langenbeck property and said Lowe's
Addition to its intersection with the southeasterly line of Lot 13 of
said Lowe's Addition; thence southwesterly along the southeasterly
line of said Lot 13 to the most southerly corner thereofj thence south-
easterly across said Cypress Street to the most easterly corner of said
Lot 12 of said Lowe's Additionj thence southwesterly along the south-
easterly line of said Lot 12 to the most southerly corner thereof and the
point of beginning.
Said property is rezoned from F-S Freeway Service District to H-S Highway
Service District.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after its passage it shall
be published once, together with the names of the Councilmen voting thereon, in
the Five Cities Times-Press-Recorder.
