I would like to correct an error in the staff report regarding the ballots for the proposed
Five Cities Fire Authority benefit assessment. The staff report indicated that the
assessment will increase by 4% per year, which is incorrect. The assessment can
only be adjusted for inflation by an amount equal to the change in the Southern
California Consumer Price Index, but cannot exceed 4% per year. I apologize for this
