RESOLUTION NO. 2900
A RESOLUTION ON TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON A PORTION OF EL CAMINO REAL (pARK AND
RIDE WT) (MUNICIPAL CODE SEC. 2-7.04)
"
WHEREAS, it appears necessary and desirable to prohibit parking on a portion of EI
Camino Real, as specifically described below:
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That a "No Parking" zone be established on both sides of the -
asphalt concrete berm between the park and ride lot and the west
bound driving lane of EI Camino Real, extending from a point two
hundred tliirty eight (238) feet east of the intersection of the
centerlines of North Halcyon Road and EI Camino Real, thence
easterly to a point on the easterly terminus of said asphalt concrete
berm, four hundred eight (408) feet east of the intersection of the
centerlines of Halcyon Road and EI Camino Real, See Exhibit
"A",
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo Grande
be, and is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs and/or markings to indicate
said "No Parking" zone.
On motion of Council Member Smith , seconded by Council MemberDougal~ and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Member Smith, Dougall, Gallagher, Moots and Mayor Millis
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 26th day of November, 1991. -
