Minutes oP previous meeting read and approved as read.
Communications r~ac~ and ordered placed on Pile.
~otion authorizing l~ayor Gibson to sign City-Connty `'ealth
contract was regularly made and seconded and passed by the
following vo~te on roll ~all. ~
AYES: Councilmen Conrad~ Phillips, Schnyder ~C Whitlo~k.
NOES: None-
RBSENT: None.
~bove mentioned contract was then and there signed by ~ayor
Gibson.
City Police T~udge Eldridge was present and was notified ,a~'',
the Hosrd's ruliu3g oP last meeting, requiring the•City Judge to
kkep his booYs and tnaintain his Court in the City Hall.
Claims against the Veneral Fund in the amount of ~$667.32 and
the '~ater Fund in the amount of $324.30 were audited~ approved
and ardered paid,
No ftirther business appearixig and upon motion the meeting was
adjourned.

Upon roll ca11 Councilmen Conrad, Phillips~ Sehnyder and
~Nhitlock reported present. A~sent none.
~Iinutes of preuious meeting read and appraved as read.
T~rs. F. ~aar appeared repr~esenting the Rrroyo Granc~e Nloman's
club, tp ask that the City consider taking over the old Grammer
Sehool grounds on a 99 year lease praposition, and converting
the same into a City Park. Also to assist the club by furnishing
labor in plantir~g ornamental shrubs at the entran~es to the City
and to cooperate in trying to seeure a program for the instalation
oP side~ralks, ~urbs and gutters on some oP the principal streets.
`j'he Board agreed to look f.avorably upon the d3.Fferent propositions
and ~elegated a eommittee of whomever ~ould be present ta m~et
with the Se~ool Board at their next reg~zlar meeting~ to determine
whether or not a 99 year lease which would be suita.ble to the City
cou~d be undertaken.
I~oved~ seconded and regu~arly carried that due to the ill health
and financial condition of ~rs. Fobes, her water bi11 be waived
for the present time.
~doved~ seconded and regularly carried that I~ssistant water
Superintendent~s salary be increased to $145.00 er month aad
Str~et Superintendent's salary be increased to $~0.00 per month
both effective November lst.
Af`ter due deliberation, the request of Robert Spehr for a
reduetion in valuation an Lots 5 to 12 in Block 13 oP the WestRrn
Additior~ ~s~~e~3:~ad.
No further business appearing and upon motion the meeting was
