The City ~`ouncil met in regular session and was ealled to
order by the City ~lerk.
Upon roll call Councilmen Phillips~ SChn~rder~ Menny and
Lierly reported present. ~bsei~t Mayor Gibso~? .
A motion by Councilman Phillips,seconded~'Councilman Schnyder~
motion carried to have Councilman ~enny act as Mayor.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as
read.
The ~ommunications were read and placed on fi1e. ,
Pf~r Buster Loomis appeared before the Council to explain the
Insurance Policies w1~' h t~ie Gity was carrying.
Councilman Lierly,~~hat the County Officials were willing to
go in with the City zn the building of their offices with ~he
new City Hall. Some rough plans had been ma.de and they-thought
the building suggested could be built for about $ 6.0~ a square
foot or around $ 30~000.00 . The matter was to ~e looked into
more thoroughly ~.s was a site for the building.
Nir J.O.Mineau reported that his other business hac~ grown so
heavy he had f~und he could not continue with the work in the eity
but said he would conti~ue to help out in a pinch.
Claims against the General Fund for ~ 1~2.89~the Water Fund
For $ 4g2.05~the ~a~er Deposit Fand for $ 1~.00 and the Ineoz~e
Tax Fund for $ 2b?.30 were audited ~ approved and ordered paid.
No furfi,her business appearing and upon motion the meeting
was adjourned.

The City Council met in regular seesion and was called to
order by the Clerk. -
Upon roll call ~ouneilmen Phnllips~Schnyder~ Menny and
Lierly reported present. ?~bsent Mayor Gibson. •
A motion ~d~~<.by ~ouncilma.n Phillips~seconded by ~ouneil-
man Lierly ,motion carried to have Council~an ~ehnyder act as
Mayor .

The_communications were read and placed on file.
Mr Hixon from out in the Western Add'n neighborhood appear-
ed before the Council to see if it would be possible to get
water out on his place and after some discussion Mr Ewing was
instrueted to find out how much pipe it would take and also get .
prices on pipe.
Mr ~a.lter Edmands appeared and asked if something could be
done towards getting a light on the corner by his place as it
is quite a dangerous corner. Mr Ewing was instructed to contact
the Pacific Gas & Electrie ~o. to see if a light could be put
in there.
ffirF~T.~.Robison came before ~the ~ouneil to see if the pipe-
line being laid to the Kaar place could be extended so that he
could have water~•to the house he is building. Mr Ev~riing vva.s asked
to see how far it would be.
The Council agreed that anyone wishing to take out a license
on acard table should first make application to the Council.
J.O.Mineau said that some of th~ Brr,r~iding Permits b~ing asl~-
ed for were too low~ the Attorney explained ho~ it was handlec~
in other places and the ~ouncil agreed that from then on it
should be done as the Ord. called for.Plans would be subm3tted
and approved by the Inspector and the Council pass on them at
the following meeting.
The Clerk brought up the matter of Personal Property valuat-
ions being turned in too low and the Council ordered the Clerk
to assess them as nearly right as possible.
No further business appearing and upon motion the~eeting
