Phillips presiding. _
Upon roll call Councilmen Schnyder~~~enny~Lierly and Rourr-
tree reported present. _

Councilman Rountree made a motion ~sec~nded by Councilm~tn
Lierly authorizing D~r McCoy the purchasin~ agent to purchase
some garbage cans fram ~dr A~ueda if they were satisfactory
and the price was ri~ht.
The culvert to be ~laced by Don Cooks vras discuss~d and
Councilman Lierly made a motion~seconded by Couneilman. Roun~ree
. that t4~r ~cCoy be instructed to get the necessary ~ermits from
Don Cook and Mr Harkness ~o the enlvert could be placed~to
better advant~.~;e.
It was reported the Kyle,~ervice of aan Luis C?bispo had
offered to put a new raof on the fire house for $ 1I0.00 and
Cauncilman ~ountree made a motian~secanded by Couneilman Setr-
nyder that ~'~r ~~cCoy have them put the roof on.
Mr Harri~ the City Attorney ~ave a r~port on the giving
of a Taxi Franehise and said the City could give such a~'r~.rr-~,~~
chise but he did not think it was advisable and said it was
optional ~.s tia whether the City wanted to allow a Taxi stand.
C?rdinanee ~'0.~5 for the control of Food and Drink estab--
lishments in the City of ~rroyo Grande was read for the first
time.

seconded by Councilman Sehnyder to allow Mrs Illenstines
request.
