RESOLUTION NO. 2245
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A BOULEVARD
STOP SIGN AT THE INTERSECTION OF HILLCREST
DRIVE, NEWPORT AVENUE, AND MONTEGO STREET
WHEREAS , it appears necessary and desirable to establish a
boulevard stop siqn at the intersection of Hillcrest Drive,
Newport Avenue, and Montego Street:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the
City of Arroyo Grande, as follows:
That a stop sign be place on Hillcrest Drive
at the northwest corner of the intersection --.I
of Hillcrest Drive, Montego Street and
Newport Avenue so as to stop traffic before
crossing the intersection.
That a stop sign be place on Newport Avenue at
the southeast corner of the intersection of
Newport Avenue, Montego Street and Hillcrest
Drive so as to stop traffic before crossing the
intersection.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City
of Arroyo Grande be, and is hereby authorized to provide and
install sufficient siqns and/or markings to indicate said stop
siqns.
On motion of Council Member Moots, seconded by Council
Member Porter, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:

NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Mayor Mankins
the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted this 26th day of
July, 1988.
