The ~itg ~ouncil met in regular session with Mayor Burt presidin~;. Upon
ro11 call ~ouneilmen Lee~ Pence, Jacobs and Brennan reported present.
Minutes of the pxe~i.ous re~ular and speeial meeting were read and apprc?ved
as read. ~
It was agreed t,o aecept Hartup's offer to remc~ve the old Cit~ Hall
and Fire Hou~e. He ~ras to furnish liability and property damage insurance~ the
~ity to waive a performance bond and hs ~ to eomplete the removal t~i.thin 9~ ~3~•
~deveral property owners on South Alpine asked about removal of the larg~
tre8s across from their propertg. ~r. .~derson was requested to get figures on
the cost of removing the trees for ~tudy at the next Council meet3ng.
Bids for furnishing ~asol3.ne were opened from 8 bidders and a mo~ion va~
made by Councilman Jacobs, seconded by Councilman Brennan to accapt the bid
of Richfield ~i.l as it was they were the low bidder and the Mayor was suthorized
ta sign for the City.
Mr, Charles Burington and several members from the I~ion's Club appeared
before the Council to see if they eould assist in putting up ~treet ~igns i.n
tot~n especially on the streets leading ofg of the ~ighw~y,aa persons try9.ng to
locate someone had difficulty with no visible signs, I'~r. Anderson reported on
the cost of signs~ and said they were approximately ~20.Oa and there was abou.t

P~irs. Phi113ps was present to discuss sewer service '~o her lat on Le Point~
her property being too low to get in the Ze Point ~t. ~ewer. After diseussic~n
it wa~ agreed to take eare of the ~a,iat~nar~ce if a.r~ was needed an a line from
the back of her propertg and on Harde~n St,reet to Mason, if a lamphole or clean
out t~as installed.
Councilman Jacflbs suggested a report on Building Permits ~nd EngineerinS
be made each month. >
Gouncilmar~ Jacobs asked about a study on oPf street parking or so~ething
t4 alleviate the lack of parking available in town. After di~cussi~n it s~s
agreed to a~k the City Planning Com~nission to ~aks a study on off ~treet parkiag
and alley~ to cio awa~r ~rith so much double parking o~' truck~.

for deli~rery esrly in April and the City ~fficial..~ & Firem~n were
3.nvited to inspect the ~€}~pmsnt being assembled on March 9th or 16th.
