Dixson Trust Subject: Public Hearing -Tuesday, March 28, 2017, Arroyo Grande City Council - Consideration of Formation of a Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) We are in favor of the City of Arroyo Grande's formation of a Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) to ensure local control and provide local management of the ground water basin, working with other local GSAs. It is our understanding that a fee on said property, 769 Branch Mill Road, Parcel# 007-711-003, would not be a consideration since there is minimal impact. And, that under Arroyo Grande's Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA), the City would advocate against any type of property fee. Our private wells are critical to our farming operation. It is important to note that in 2001 our farm was placed under an Agricultural Conservation Easement, to ensure that this land remain in agricultural use in perpetuity. Thank you for your consideration. PRELIMINARY DRAFT PARCEL ESTIMATES BY AGENCY AND BY FRINGE AREA FOR THE SANTA MARIA BASIN FRINGE AREAS (NON-ADJUDICATED) Fringe Area Number of Parcels 1.
