Development Grant Agreement for the proposed City of Arroyo Grande sewer

reading the balance of this resolution.

MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE AND THE UNITED
STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.

Peterson were in afitendance and spoke of the matter. Mr. Peterson reviewed
the progress of the Sewer AssessmeMt District and noted that engineer~.ng
should be~completed by Februar3r:1, 1971. Mr. Drahn.estima~ed the earlisst
date to com~nence cons-truction would be July,.1971, and.indicated he we~2d
aubmit a schedule to the ~ity Council.
REQUEST OF COUNCILMAN SCHLEGEL FOR PERMISSION TO BE OUT 0~ STATE
On motion of Gouncilman Wood, seconded by Couneilman Tail~y, and unaai•

of a resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Grant
Agreement between the City and the United States Department of Housing and
Urban Development, thereafter, a motion was made by Councilman Schlegel, -
seconded by Councilman Talley and unanimously carried, to dispense with
reading the balance of this resolution.

Peterson were in attendance and spoke of the matter. Mr. Peterson reviewed
the progress of the Sewer Assessment District and noted that engineering
should be completed by February 1, 1971. Mr, Drahn estimated the earliest
date to commence construction would be July, 1971, and indicated he would
submit a schedule to the City Council.
RE.QUEST OF COUNCILMAN SCHLEGEL FOR PERMISSION TO BE OUT OF STATE
On motion of Councilman Wood, seconded by Gouncilman Talley and unani-
mously carried, the request of Councilman Schlegel for permission to be out
of the State of California from January 8, 1971 until January 25, 1971, was
approved.
