PUBZIC HEARING - INTENT TO SELL CITY PROPERTY AT ELM & FAIR OAKS - NO BIDS REC`D Administrator Bv.tch reviewed a memorandum dated March 10, 1972 from ^ Director of Public Works Anderson recommending the sale of surplus pcrrtir~~x;of that property purchased by the City for street widening p~arposes of South E1m Street, said property being located on the southeast corner of Elm Street and Fair 0aks Avenue. The City Council had set a minimum bid of $4,000 on this property. MAYORS' MEETING TO APPOINT REP, TO REGIONAL SHORELINE COMMISSION Mayor Schlegel reported that at the-December 11th meeting of the Mayors in the County of San Luis Obispo, called for the purpose of electing a representative to the Regional Shoreline Commission, that Grover City Cou.ncilman Bob Newdoll had been elected as the area's ~epresentative, which appaintment will need to be made official by Governor Re~.gan. 0_R.4L REPORT RE. REMOVAL OF'DUPLEX ON W~,THROW PROPERTY ° HELD OVER Administrator Butch reported that no bids have as yet been received for the purchase and removal of the dupleX apartment building at 110 Short Street and requested a further continuance of the matter until after the first of the year, which request was approved by the Council. GAYNOS Administrat~r Butch reviewed a memo dated Dec~mber 11th from-Director of Public Works Anderson, recommending that the Grant Deed from Nicolaus and Loris Scott Gaynos be accepted, which permits the City to install a 20' curb radius at the southeast corner of Juniper Street and Grand Avenue. After Council discussion, on motion of Councilman Wood, seconded by Councilman Millis and unanimously carried, the Grant Deed from Nicolaus Gaynos and Zoris Scott Gaynos, dated December 4, 1972, to permit a 20' curb radius at the southeasfi corn~r of Juniper Street and Grand Avenue, was accept~d and the Mayor and City Clerk were authorized to sign the Certificate of Acceptance on behalf of the City, RECEIPT OF PRELIM_ REPORT R~_ IMPRQVEMENT OF BRIGHTON AVE.
