ORDINANCE NO. 368 C.S.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER
WITH THE AUTHORITY TO APPLY FOR RETIREMENT
FOR EMPLOYEES WITH A DISABILITY
(California Government Code Sec. 21023)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE DOES HEREBV ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWSs

Section 1
The Municipal Code of the City of Arroyo Grande is hereby amended
by adding Sec. 2~3.14 reading in full as followss
Sec. 2-3.14. Emplo~ee Incapacitation. In the event any City employee is
incapacitated by vlrtue of health reasons and cannot perform his/her job
responsibilities or duties, the City Manager shall have the authority to
place the employee on sick leave, vacation leave, leave of absence with
pay, or other employment status deemed appropriate.
Section 2
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30) days
after its passage, and within fifteen (15) days after passage, it shall
be published once, together with the names of the Council Members voting
thereon, in a newspaper of general circulation within the City.
On motion of Council Member Johnson , seconded by Council Member
Porter, and on the following roll call vote, to wit:
AVES: Council Members Johnson, Porter, Millis, Moots and Mayor Mankins
NOES: None
- ABSENT: None
the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted on this 12th day of January,
1988. .
