NOTICE OF APPROVAL OF FINAL MAP

Arroyo Grande Municipal Code Sections 16.20.080 & 16.20.090
Government Code Section 66458
The City Engineer is authorized by the City Council to approve or disapprove final
subdivision maps. Once a subdivision map is technically corrected, all conditions of
approval have been completed or financially secured, a notice of pending action shall be
posted with the regular City Council Agenda. After seven calendar days following the
regular City Council meeting (the 8th calendar day), if an appeal has not been filed with the
City Clerk, the City Engineer may approve the map without appeal. The City Engineer
must sign the map prior to the 11th calendar day. City staff will transmit the signed map to
the County of San Luis Obispo for recordation.
Any appeal must be based on conformance with the Subdivision Map Act, the City of
Arroyo Grande Municipal Code, and the project conditions of approval.
