A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ARROYO GRANDE AMENDING THE MASTER FEE
SCHEDULE FOR THE PARKS, RECREATION AND
FACILITIES DEPARTMENT CHILDREN IN MOTION
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 4060 approving a Citywide Master
Fee Schedule; and
WHEREAS, the City performs certain services and offers certain programs which
benefit the community, including the Children In Motion program administered by the
Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department; and
WHEREAS, the cost of providing such services and programs are to be paid by those
individuals that receive such services; and
WHEREAS, those fees charged for the Children In Motion Program no longer
accurately reflect the actual cost of the Children In Motion Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the question of whether or not to change
the fee structure for the Children In Motion Program to reflect the estimated cost that is
required to sufficiently compensate the City for providing the program; and
WHEREAS, at a duly noticed public meeting, the City Council considered all oral and
written presentations that were made regarding the proposed fees and fee structure..
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande hereby amends the Master Fee Schedule to update the fees and fee structure
for the Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department's Children In Motion Program as set
forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as though
set forth in full.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council that this Resolution shall take effect
on August 25, 2008.
On motion of Council Member Guthrie, seconded by Council Member Arnold, and on
the following roll call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Guthrie, Arnold, Costello, and Mayor Ferrara
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Fellows
