PC R 17-2276 RESOLUTION NO. 17-2276 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE APPROVING CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE NO. 17-001; LOCATED AT 1475 EL CAMINO REAL; APPLIED FOR BY JACK CHAPMAN WHEREAS, the applicant has filed an application for a Certificate of Compliance to verify the legality of two lots located at 1475 El Camino Real; and WHEREAS, the subject property was originally subdivided by grant deed in 1963; and WHEREAS, properties in the County of San Luis Obispo could be subdivided legally by grant deed until 1966; and WHEREAS, the subject property was not annexed into the City of Arroyo Grande until 1981; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande has reviewed the project in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the State CEQA Guidelines, and the Arroyo Grande Rules and Procedures for implementation of CEQA and finds the project to be categorically exempt per Section 15061(b)(3) of the Guidelines regarding projects where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that there will be a significant effect on the environment. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the project at its meeting on June 6, 2017; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds, after due study and deliberation, that the lots were legally created. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby approves Certificate of Compliance 17-001, as presented to the Planning Commission on June 6, 2017. On a motion by Commissioner George, seconded by Commissioner Mack and by the following roll call vote to wit: AYES: George, Mack, Fowler-Payne, Martin NOES: None ABSENT: Schiro The foregoing Resolution was adopted this 6th day of June, 2017.
