Father Michael O'Sullivan, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, delivered the invocation.

OATH OF OFFICE
Superior Court Judge Barry Hammer administered the Oath of Office to the first
elected Mayor of the City of Arroyo Grande, B'Ann Smith; and to Council Members
D. G. Porter and Dorace Johnson; City Treasurer JoAnn Wizemann and City Clerk Nancy
Davis. The incoming City Council Me~bers assumed their chairs.
RECOGNITION OF DEPARTING COUNCIL MEMBERS BY MAYOR SMITH
Council Members Hogan, Millis and Vandeveer were thanked 'for their service and
presented with plagues and their name plates as they departed.
REMARKS BY NEWLY ELECTED OFFICIALS
Council Members Dorace Johnson and D. G. Porter delivered appropriate remarks.
Mayor B'Ann Smith then addressed the audience and outlined Some of her goals for
the coming year. She will keep office hours at City Hall on Wednesdays from : :.
8:00 A.II. to 5:00 P.M., starting on December 12, 1984.
ADJOURNMENT
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member Porter, and
unanimously carried, to adjourn to Regular Session on December II, 1984.
