The Rec department is one of my primary concerns for the budget. Lots of local parents work
outside the five cities area either in SLO or Santa Maria and without the before and after
school programs we would not be able to remain in AG. Likewise, the summer programs are
indispensable for working parents.
Please, please continue to support and fund the Rec programs! The entire department has been
brilliant and an integral part of our daily lives.
