Arroyo Grande City Council Chambers 215 East Branch Street, Arroyo Grande 1. CALL TO ORDER AND NOMINATION OF ACTING CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR Director McClish will call the meeting to order and will hold nominations for Acting Chair and Vice Chair to serve until the second meeting in March 2015. 2. ROLL CALL 3. FLAG SALUTE: Commissioner Keen 4. AGENDA REVIEW: The Commission may revise the order of agenda items depending on public interest and/or special presentations. It is recommended to move staff communications as the first item. 5. COMMUNITY COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS: This public comment period is an invitation to members of the community to present issues, thoughts, or suggestions on matters not scheduled on this agenda. Comments should be limited to those matters that are within the jurisdiction of the Planning Commission. The Brown Act restricts the Commission from taking formal action on matters not published on the agenda. The Commission requests that public comment be limited to three (3) minutes and be accompanied by voluntary submittal of a “speaker slip” to facilitate meeting organization and preparation of the minutes. 6. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS: Correspondence or supplemental information for the Planning Commission received after Agenda preparation. In compliance with the Brown Act, the Commission will not take action on correspondence relating to items that are not listed on the Agenda, but may schedule such matters for discussion or hearing as part of future agenda consideration.  Planning Commission By-laws Agenda AGENDA SUMMARY – FEBRUARY 3, 2015 PAGE 2 7. CONSENT AGENDA: 7.a. APPROVAL OF MINUTES (WEICHINGER) Recommended Action: Approve the minutes of the December 2, 2014 meeting. 8. PUBLIC HEARINGS: 8.a. TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP CASE NO. 14-003; SUBDIVISION OF ONE (1) 0.52 ACRE PARCEL IN THE SINGLE FAMILY ZONING DISTRICT INTO TWO (2) PARCELS OF 0.26 ACRES EACH; LOCATION – 1079 FARROLL AVENUE; APPLICANT – LINDA & TERENCE FIBICH (DOWNING) Recommended Action: It is recommended that the Planning Commission adopt a Resolution approving Tentative Parcel Map Case No. 14-002. 9. NON-PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS: 9.a. CONSIDERATION OF LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT NO. 14-001; LOCATION – 318 SHORT STREET; APPLICANT – BOB CHRISTIANSON; REPRESENTATIVE – GREEN LAND SURVEYS (DOWNING) Recommended Action: It is recommended that the Planning Commission adopt a resolution removing the requirement for emergency access on the adjacent property for Lot Line Adjustment 14-001. 9.b. CONSIDERATION OF PRE-APPLICATION REVIEW 14-008; INTERPRETATION OF ZONING CODE REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW MOTORSPORTS EVENT CENTER; LOCATION – 1488 EAST GRAND AVENUE; APPLICANT – TRACY LISKEY-DEL RIO (KING) Recommended Action: It is recommended that the Planning Commission review the proposed project description and provide comment to the applicant. 10.
