PLANNING COMMISSION
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
On TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2015, the Arroyo Grande Planning Commission will
conduct a public hearing at 6:00 P.M. in the COUNCIL CHAMBERS at 215 E.
BRANCH STREET to consider the following:
DEVELOPMENT CODE AMENDMENT CASE NO. 15-002; AMENDMENT TO
CHAPTER 16.84 OF THE ARROYO GRANDE MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADOPTION
BY REFERENE THE MODEL WATER EFFICIENT LANDSCAPE ORDINANCE OF
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; LOCATION - CITYWIDE; APPLICANT - ClTY OF
ARROYOGRANDE
The Planning Commission will consider an advisory recommendation to the City Council
regarding an amendment to Title 16 of the Arroyo Grande Municipal Code regarding the
regulation of water use for landscaping.
In compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the Community
Development Department has determined that the project is exempt per Sections
15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines. If the Planning Commission does not feel that this
determination is appropriate, project approval will not be considered.
The Planning Commission may also discuss other hearings or business items before or
after the item listed above. If you challenge the proposed action in court, you may be
limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing
described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning
Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing. Comments may be either: (1) mailed or
delivered in person to the Community Development Department at 300 East Branch
Street, Arroyo Grande, CA or (2) provided in person at the Public Hearing.
Failure of any person to receive the notice shall not constitute grounds for any court to
invalidate the action of the legislative body for which the notice was given.
