Administrative Decisions ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS PLANNING COMMISSION SEPTEMBER 6, 2016 (Approvals by the Community Development Director) ITEM NO. 1: PLOT PLAN REVIEW 16-011: TENANT IMPROVEMENTS FOR RESIDENTIAL USE OF 925 SQUARE FEET OF LIVING SPACE IN A MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT; LOCATION – 200 STATION WAY, UNIT F; APPLICANT – ROBERT ANDERSON; REPRESENTATIVE – GREG SOTO, LIV-IN ENVIRONMENTS After making the findings specified in Section 16.16.080 of the Municipal Code, the Community Development Director approved the above referenced project for 925 square feet of tenant improvements for residential use in a mixed use development. ITEM NO. 2: PLOT PLAN REVIEW 16-007 AND MINOR EXCEPTION 16-002; REMODEL AND EXPANSION OF AN EXISTING RESIDENCE AND THE REDUCTION OF THE REQUIREMENT FOR ONE (1) OFF-STREET PARKING SPACE ; LOCATION – 308 WHITELEY STREET; APPLICANT – ABIGAIL WILL; REPRESENTATIVE – LAURA GOUGH, STUDIO 2G ARCHITECTS After making the findings specified in Section 16.16.080 and Section 16.16.100 of the Municipal Code, the Community Development Director, upon receiving recommendation from the Architectural Review Committee, approved the above referenced project for the remodel and expansion of an existing residence in the Village Residential zoning district, as well as the reduction of the requirement for one (1) off-street, enclosed parking space. ITEM NO. 3: TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 16-018; BBQ FUNDRAISER FOR BOY SCOUT TROOP 489 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2016; LOCATION – 140 TRAFFIC WAY; APPLICANT – SONYA YOKES After making the findings specified in Section 16.16.090 of the Municipal Code, the Community Development Director approved the above referenced event for a BBQ fundraiser for Boy Scout Troop 489 at 140 Traffic Way on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 11 AM to 3 PM. ITEM NO. 4: TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 16-015; USE OF EXISTING ASPHALT PAVED LOT FOR CONTRACTOR STAGING AREA AND PLACEMENT OF TWO (2) TEMPORARY PORTABLE OFFICE TRAILERS; LOCATION – ST JOHNS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 959 VALLEY ROAD; APPLICANT – FRANK LARA, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GAS COMPANY After making the findings specified in Section 16.16.090 of the Municipal Code, the Community Development Director approved the above referenced project for a temporary contractor staging yard and placement of two (2) temporary office trailers at 959 Valley Road for a four month period beginning Tuesday, September 6, 2016. ITEM NO. 5: TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 16-016; USE OF EXISTING ASPHALT PAVED LOT FOR CONTRACTOR STAGING AREA; LOCATION – 789 VALLEY ROAD; APPLICANT – FRANK LARA, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GAS COMPANY After making the findings specified in Section 16.16.090 of the Municipal Code, the Community Development Director approved the above referenced project for a temporary contractor staging yard at 789 Valley Road for a four month period beginning Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
