I am a wine club member of Timbre Winery and friends with the owners, Josh and Chiasa Mapper. I would love to see Timbre Winery open a tasting room in the Village for a number of reasons. First, the Mappers are wonderful, hard-working, giving, community -oriented people. They want to build their business, and invest, in the community where they live. Second, I (and many people I know) would like to see more businesses in the Village that make the Village somewhere we want to go to spend time. Shops, restaurants, cafes, wine bars, movie theaters — these businesses bring people to a downtown area and make people want to spend time there. Although I ]mow we need the financial planners, CPAs, attorneys and hair salons, those offices don't male the Village Inn or help increase business for the other establishments there. Having another small tasting room will be a great addition to the Village because people can visit two tasting rooms in one trip and it will be another business that will bring people to the Village who will likely also patronize the restaurants and shops. Thank you for your consideration. Very truly yours, f Stephanie Barclay
