Request
Consideration of Temporary Use Permit to:
Authorize closing W. and E. Branch Street from 2 until 6 pm on October 31, 2019;
Posting No Parking signs 48 hours before the event (allows City to enforce parking restrictions).
City to install safety measures to ensure pedestrian safety
Detour traffic onto Traffic Way, Nelson Street, Mason Street;
Delineating widened truck turning areas at specific intersections

Recommendation
It is recommended the City Council adopt a Resolution approving Temporary Use Permit 19- 011 and appropriating $5,000 from the General Fund Reserves for the event.

Donations
If people would like to make donations to support the event staff has created a specific line item where funds can be deposited.
Staff would appreciate direction on the use of any funds if donated.
