Hello, I am Heidy Mangiardi, Owner/Instructor of Zumba with Heidy. Thank you very much
for the recognition as a “Covid Safety Superstar.” I will be unable to attend the meeting on
May 11th as I will be teaching class during that time; however, I would greatly appreciate it if
you could read this brief comment into the record:
“I would like to thank the City and the Community for this recognition of Zumba with
Heidy as a ‘Covid Safety Superstar.’ The Arroyo Grande Parks & Recreation Department has
been a pivotal force in getting our community moving again in a safe, compliant manner and
our local Zumba community has been diligent about maintaining safe-social distancing and
following required mask regulations in our outdoor fitness classes. We are grateful for all the
support in keeping our town healthy!
