RESOLUTION NO. 1407
A RESOLUTION OF THE C /TY COUNC I L OF THE C /TY OF
ARROYO GRANDE ESTABLISHING A TWO-HOUR PARKING
ZONE IN A PORTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE
"CAR CORRAL" PARKING LOT.
WHEREAS~ the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande is~ -per Section
22519 of the State of California Vehicle Code~ authorized to regulatethe.
parking of vehicles on City off-street parking fad Ii ties; and' i'" '
WHEREAS~ it appears necessary and desirable to limit parking in a portion
of the "Car Corral" on Branch Street~ more particular1y described below;
[ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arroyo
Grande, as follows:
That hereafter, two-hour (2-hour) limited parking is established on
all parking spaces within the following described area:
Along the North line of the Car Corral where all day parking now exists
for a tota I of 25 two-hour spaces and add it i ana 11 y, the first five
(5) spaces in the City Parking Lot on the East side of Bridge Street
and Southerly of Branch Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the City of Arroyo
Grande be, and he is hereby authorized to provide and install sufficient signs
and/or markings to indicate that said area has limited parking for two (2)
hours only.
On motion of Council Member Gallagher, seconded by Council Member Smith
and on the following roll call vote~ to wit:
AYES: Council Member Gallagher~ de Leon, Smith and Mayor Mi1Jis
NOES: Council Member Pope
ABSENT: None
