ARROYO GRANDE PLANNING COMMISSION
MARCH 17, 1992
The Arroyo Grande Planning Commission met in regular session with Vice Chairman Carr
presiding. Present are Commissioners Soto, Moore, Souza, and Groves. Absent are
Commissioner Boggess and Chairman Brandy. Planning Director Doreen Liberto - Blanck, is also
in attendance.
MINUTE APPROVAL
Hearing no additions or corrections, the minutes of the regular meeting of December 3, 1991,
December 17, 1991 and January 7, 1992 were approved as prepared on motion by Commissioner
Moore, seconded by Commissioner Groves and unanimously carried.
PUBLIC HEARING - CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE EXPANDED INITIAL STUDY AND
MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION ON RANCHO GRANDE PARK.
Director Liberto - Blanck advised that the City Manager ceased processing the study, inasmuch
as there is no funding available to build the park. Therefore, the Expanded Initial Study is not
complete.
Upon being assured by the Planning Commission Secretary that public hearing had been duly
published, Vice Chairman Carr declared the hearing open.
Mr. Teeters asked where a copy of the Draft Expanded Initial Study could be obtained.
Doreen Liberto - Blanck stated in the City Clerk's office and reminded Mr. Teeters that it is in
rough form and has not been routed for review.
Hearing no further comments from the audience, Vice Chairman Carr declared the hearing
closed.
The project was continued indefinitely on motion by Commissioner Soto, seconded by
Commissioners Souza and unanimously carried.
COMMISSIONER BOGGESS ENTERED THE MEETING AT 7:35 P.M.
PLANNING DIRECTOR /PLANNING COMMISSION ITEMS AND COMMENTS
Director Liberto - Blanck reminded the Commission that the Planners Institute is April 9 through
11.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Commission, on motion by Commissioner Moore
seconded by Commissioner Boggess and unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned at
7:45 P.M. to Commissioner Bob Carr's house for an informal gathering.
The Planning Commission was reminded of a Special Planning Commission Meeting on March
31, 1992 at 7:00 P.M.
