A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO
GIANOE ENCOURAGING THE CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL
PLANNING DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS. the LEAA program has been In existence for over ten y..rs. and

WHEREAS, molt cities and most counties heve participated and heve benefited :

WHEREAS. the new LEAA legislation provides for "Entltl...nt Jurisdictions"
so thet funding c:en be accomplished with less red tape. and
WHEREAS. the new legislation effectively reduc:es the authority of the state i
r to Intervene In loc:el criminal justice activities. and I
