RESOLUTION NO. 1357
A f\ESOLUTt ON OF THE CITY COUNC I L. OF THE C I TV OF ARROYO
GRANDE AOOPTING THE SCENIC ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL. PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Planning CommIssion of the City of Arroyo Grande has prepared a
g~"eral plan report together with a general plan map and has adopted the SceniQ
EI~ment of the General Plan; and
~.. WHEREAS, pursuant t9 Government Code Section 65501; et seq. the City Council
t gave required notice and did hold a public hearing on April 24, 1979, for the pur-
l pose of considering the adoption of the Scenic Element of the General Plan report
and map, and at which public hearing the Scenic Element report and map were dls-
playad, explained and reported upon; and
WHEREAS, said Scenic Element of the General Plan report and map thereof are
ne~,s..ry for sound f~t~re community development, the preservation of community
val\leii, and the promotion of the general health, safety, convenience and welfare
of .the cltl~ens of the City of Arroyo Grande; and

N~W, THEREFOR!::, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO Gf\ANOE DOES HEREBY
R~$QLVE AS FOLL.OWS:
section 1. The City Council of the City of Arroyo Granda does hereby find
and determine that the public interest, convenience and necessity require that
the Scenic Element of the General Plan report and map be adopted.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby adopts the
Scenic Element of the General Plan together with the maps and descriptive material.

On the motion of CO\lncll Member de Leon, seconded by Council Member Gallagher,
and on the following roil call vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Gallagher, de Leon, Pope, Smith and Mayor Millis.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
