REVIEW USE PERMIT CASE NO, 73 -212 - TEMPORARY MOBILEHOME: SALES LOT. 775 VALLEY
ROAD (GLENVIEW CONSTRUCTION CO.
Director Gallop reviewed that on July 3, 1973 a Use Permit was granted
for a temporary mobilehome sales lot in the C -N zoned district on Valley Road
for a period of one year, subject to renewal for one additional year. He further
advised there were six conditions listed on Resolution No. 73 - 307 U, and the
matter was given final review by the Architectural Review Committee,
Director Gallop pointed out that no particular problems have been
experienced with the sales lot, however, there have been a couple of minor
problems but they were called to the attention of the manager of the park
and were quickly resolved.
In answer to Commissioner Goulart's question regarding Item 4 of the
Resolution, Director Gallop advised that all off -site improvements have been
completed, with the exception of several gaps in the sidewalk area, which
had been left open until the new street fights were installed. He advised
that Po G. and E. have now installed the lights, and the sidewalks will be
completed,
Commissioner Ries mentioned that from time to time there is a sign
advertising the park at the corner of Fair Oaks and Valley Road. Director
Gallop advised this was one of the minor problems that was brought to the
attention of Mr. Anthony, and the sign was immediately removed.
Mr. Anthony explained the reason for asking for the extension is
because the park was opened the 30th of March and up to this point they
have 38 reservations in the park. The sales lot is a provision that allows
them to fill the park a little bit fasten He indicated the park is open
to other dealers, but that there is an advantage of having the sales lot
adjacent to the park,. Mr. Anthony pointed out, with regard to the side-
walks, that they were completed today,
Commissioner Goulart inquired if there was any anticipation of the
owners that they may want to extend the Use Permit beyond this additional
year's extension, Mr. Anthony stated he would doubt this very much, unless
they have a tremendous amount of problems of trying to fill the park, which
he does not anticipate,
After Commission discussion, permission was granted to extend Use
Permit Case No. 73- 212, Res, No. 73 - 307 U, for a period of one year,
