PC Minutes 1972-11-08Arroyo Grande Planning Commission November 8, 1972 The Arroyo Grande Planning Commission met In adjourned session with Chairman Nunes presiding. Present are Commissioners Berryhill, Gullickson, Pope and St. Denis. Commissioners Jones and Porter are absent. Also in attendance is Planning Director Gallop, MINUTE APPROVAL On motion by Commissioner Berryhill, seconded by Commissioner St. Denis, and unanimously carried, the minutes of the regular meeting of October 17, 1972 were approved as prepared. CONTINUATION OF REZONING CASE NO 72 -6` : RA-B. DISTRICT TO R-G DISTRICT . FAIR OAKS AVENUE MIYAKE. SAWADA AND MiYAK.E Planning Director Gallop briefly reviewed the rezoning request, noting that the public hearing had been held on October 3rd; that a Resolution had been lost at the meeting of October 17th because of the split vote, and that the matter was now before the Commission fora decision. The petitioners were present but did not speak on the matter, The Planning Commission discussed the request to considerable degree and, after discussion, the following action was taken: RESOLUTION NO, 72471 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE C I T Y OF ARROYO GRANDE AS PROVIDED BY CHAPTER 4, ARTICLE 21, OF SAID CODE, On motion by Commissioner St. Deni, seconded by Commissioner Pope, and on the following roll call vote, to wit: AYES: Commissioners Gullickson, Pope and St, Denis NOES: Commissioners Berryhill and Chairman Nunes ABSENT: Commissioners Jones and Porter the foregoing Resolution was _adopted this 8th day of November, 1972, ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT Planning Director Gallop reviewed staff report which the CornmiksiOn members received with their agenda materiel along with City Council Resolution No. 1010 establishing policy and procedures for E.I.R. After explaining the Resolution, Mr, Gallop then reviewed the Staff Committee Report doted November 6, 1972. After discussion, on motion by Commissioner Gullickson, seconded by Commissioner Berryhill, and unanimously Berried, the staff environmental report recommendations doted November 6th were adopted without change, MOBILEHOME AND TRAVEL TRAILER PARK STANOA' The proposed reso.ut on co y the Zoning Ordinance Amendment establishing procedures and standards for approval of mobilehome Pnd travel trailer parks was reviewed ond, after review, the following Potion was taken: RESOLUTION NO, 72-272 CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE PLANNING COMMISSION POLICY REGARDING DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR MOBILEHOME PARKS FOR PERMANENT OCCUPANCY, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL; AND TRAVEL TRAILER PARKS WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF TEMPORARY HOUSING OF RECREATION ORIENTED VEHICLES AND RELATED EQUIPMENT On motion by Commissioner Gullickson, seconded by Commissioner Berryhill, and on the following roll Ball vote, to wit: AYES: Commissioners Berryhill, Gullickson, Pope, St, Denis and Chairman Nunes NOES: Nona ABSENT: o Commissioners Jones and Porter the foregoing Resolution was adopted this 8th day of November, 1972. 455 456 Arroyo Grande Planning Commission,. 11 -8-72 ATTE Plan ng Director Page 2 ADJOURNMENT There being no further business before the Commission, on motion by Commissioner St, Denis, seconded by Commissioner Gullickson, and unanimously carried, the meeting was adjourned at 8 :20 P,M,
