COND.USE PERMIT REQ.-Mrs, Virqinia Thomas (F°air View Drive)
A motion was made by Commissioner McMillen, seconded by
Commissioner Schultz, tha� the Condi�ional Use Permit request of
Mrs. Virginia Thomas to permit t�he use of two bedrooms of a four
bedrooffi home for a rest home far ambula�ory patients in a C-1
Zone at 165 Fair View Drive be se� for hearing at 7:45 PoM,,

A motion was mnde by Commissioner Schultz, seconded by Commis-
sioner Rondeau that �he Condi�ional Use Permit request of Arthur B,
F°ike to permit a Pentecostal Chureh in a RA-B3 Zone at 125 San Luis
Road and 719 Huasna Road be se� for henring at 7:45 P,Mo,December

REPORT FED. ASSISTo ON MASTER PLAN
The following was received from the State Office of Planning
regarding Project No, Calif. P-164, Ar�oyo Grande:
This office has been informed by the HHFA that our urban
planning assistance grant project mentioned above hns been approved.
Several steps yet remain before we will be able to commence
the work, We must receive an approved budget from URA, followed
by an offer of grant and contrac�, This contract must then be
execut�ed by the State and ou� execution accepted by the Federal
Governmento Following this acceptance, con�racts with you and your
designated consultant must be executed before work begins, All of
this will require several weeks, even though we make every effort
to expedite �he process,
PROGRESS REPORT - Mobile Home Stud}
The Mobile Home Committee consis�ing of Commissioners Strother,
Schultz and McMillen reported that meetings were being held and
information obtained from other areas was-being studies, that Mr,
Ned Rogoway, County Planning Director was assisting the Committee
in the study, and that some of the problems confronting the
Committee were: Lot size, maintenance of developed parks, legal
aspects and the effect of trailer parks on tax structure of cities
and School Districtso
HEARING - COND, USE PERMIT REQUEST - Purcell, Inc,
Acting Chairman Strother declared the request of Purcell, Inc.
was duly published and property owners notified and the hearing
was now opened and all persons for or against #he requ�st would be
hearde Mr. Welch, representing Purcell, Inc,, advised the Plan-
ning Commission the sign would be at r.ight angles to Traffic Way,
would be 32 feet in height overall, would not be illuminated at
this t.ime, and would not block the sign of the Richfield Service
Station.
