A motion was made by Commissioner Brisco, seconded by Commisst ioner Strother, that the hearing for Mrs. Simning be continued to 8:00 P.M. Commissioner Smith was excused from participation in the hearing by Chairman Talley., Th� St�ff Report was read and ordered filed. ,� A letter of protests against the granting of thi.s �variance was received from �he �xecutrix of the L'state o� Annette Dority�ior property at b04 Newman Drive. Mr. Rigsby was pr�sent and explained the plot plan,.his�reasons for a duplex instead of a single residence, and that he had not received any complaints about the.duplex from o�her residents in the area. Commissio.ner Strother read aloud the requirements of the Zoni.ng Ord.inance that must be met before the P-lanning Commission could grant a-v�riznce�and felt the request of `Mr. Rigsby did not qualify, Chairrnan Talley d�clared the hearing closed; A Motian was made�by Commissioner Strother, seconded by Commissioner Richardson that the uariance requ2st of W. Engr. =__,_ Chairman Ta11ey read correspondence received from the County ,__� Hydraulic �nginePr, regarding Tract 282 and Tract 243, and ordered � the letter filed. � TRACT N0. 243 Tract 243 was taken under discussion and I�r. Anderson read the recommendation for Tract 243 of Robert S. Garing, Jr., engineer designated by the City Council to check tract maps, and the recommend- ation was ordered filed. A motion was made by Commissioner Richardson seconded by Commissioner Shaffer, that Tract 243 be approved. subject to the conditions recommended by Robert Garing with the exception of recommendation No, b, regardind the Leann� Ave. Crossing. The crossing requirements to be worked. out to the satisfaction of the City Director of Public Works. AL1 members present voted r , TRAILER PARK - Elm St. (Shigenaka) - Bob Shigenaka advised the Pl,anning Commission he was considering; the instaLlation of a Trailer Park on approximately I8 acres of land north of th� City Property on �lm Street and abuting Grover City City Limits. He was to present a plan and apply for re-zoning. Commiss- ion�r Shaifer recommended the Planning Com[:Zission make a study of trailer parks as to type and rating to insure the City against low rated parks. A letter was received from th� Grover City Planning Commission objecting to a trailer park.being adjacent to R-1 Zones in their C ity. _ ENGINEERS REPORTS Commissioner Sha�rer fcelt Robert Garing's reports on the two tracts were of great heLp and should be continued in the future.
