RESOLUTION NO. 1286
A RESOLUTiON SF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARR0YG
GRANDE, WITHDRAWING FROM THE COASTAL VALLEY PLANNING
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, the cities of Arroyo Grande, Grover City and Plsmo Beach
heretofore entered Into a Joint Powers Agreement pursuant to Section 65GO et seq.
of the California Government Code for purposes of creating an area planning
commission designated as the Coastal Valley Planning Council; and
WHEREAS, said agreement specifies that "any party to this agreement may
withdraw frOO1 the Coastal Valley Planning Council and terminate its participation
In this agreement by resolution of Its governing bedy to this effect"; and
WHEREAS, the Coastal Valley Planning Council has ~y action recommended
that its duties terminate.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby
resalves as follows:
1. The City of Arroyo Grande shall forthwith and hereby does withdraw

from the Coastal Valley Planmn9 Ceuncil.
2. The Arroyo Grande City Clerk Is here~y directed to send a copy of this
Resolution te the City Councils of the City of Grover City and the City of Pismo
