"'" RESOLUTION NO, 11.26 A RESOLUTluN DBCLARING TRAT PROCEEDINGS HAVE BEEN INlrIAI~~ BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE TO ANNEX TO SAID CITY CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "WOODLAND DRIVE NO, 1 ANNEXATION", AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE: 1, That, pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section 35303, and 35310, et seq" proceedings have been initiated by the Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, on its own motion and all the property owners of said territory having heretofore filed their consent, to annex to the City of Arroyo Grande all that uninhabited territory situate in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, hereby designated as "Woodland Drive No, 1 Annexation" described as follows: All that land contiguous to the City of Arroyo Grande, in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, included within the following: Parcel 2 of Map No, CO-68-69, in the County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, according to map recorded December 24, 1968, in Book 3, at Page 32 of Parcel Maps, being a portion of Lot 109, of the Ranchos Corral de Piedra, 2, That the Council of the City of Arroyo Grande desires to annex said uninhabited territory to the City of Arroyo Grande for the following reasons: The territory is contiguous to the City of Arroyo Grande, and its proposed annexation will contribute to and facilitate the orderly growth and development of both the City and the territory proposed to be annexed; will facilitate and contribute to the proper and orderly layout, design and construction of streets, gutters, sidewalks, sanitary and storm water sewers and drainage facilities, both within the City and within the territory proposed to be annexed; and will provide and facilitate proper overall planning and zoning of lands, and subdivisions of lands in said City and said uninhabited territory, in a manner most conducive to the welfare of said City and said uninhabited territory. 3, l~at the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Luis Obispo County, California, did in session duly assembled on Thursday, September 19, 1974, approve the proposed "Woodland Drive No, 1 Ann,'xal:ion" as above described, and as submitted to said Commission by the Council of the City of Arroyo Grande, 4, That Tuesday, October 29, 1974, at the hour of 8:00 P.M, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 214 E, Branch Street, City of Arroyo Grande, County of San Luis Obispo, State of California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any person not owning real property within the uninhabited territory above described and proposed to be annexed to the City of Arroyo Grande, and having any objections to the proposed annexation, may appear before the Council of the City of Arroyo Grande and show cause why such uninhabited territory should not be so annexed to said City of Arroyo Grande. Such protest must be in writing, may be filed at any time prior to the final adjournment of the hearing on protests to the proposed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of property affected, and the description and area of such property, in general terms, 5, The Cit~Clerk of the City of Arroyo Grande is hereby authorized and dirs"ted to cause a copy of this Resolution to be published at least once, in the F;,ve Cities Times-Press-Recorder, a newspaper of general circulation published in said C' '7 of Arroyo Grande, the City to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid cerritory, said publication to be complete at least four (4) days prior to the date set for hearing. 6, The City Clerk is directed to cause written notice to be given to such other persons as may be legally entitled thereto, in the manner required by law, .----- -"-.-.--------- - ...
