PC R 95-1513RTSOLUT'ION NO. 95-1513 A RrSOLU1'ION Or TI-IE PLANN.ING COMMISSION OF TII� CITY OF ARROYO GRAND� R�COMMENDING AN INTCRPRETATION TO TI-IC CITY COUNCIL 7'I-IAT INSTALLATION OI�' R�LOCATABLE CLASSROOMS REQUIR�S SUBMITTAL OT CONDITIONAL US� P�RMIT AND ARCI REVIEW APPLICATIONS TOR OAK PARK FOURSQUAR� CI�URCIi, 900 OAK PARK BOULEVARD WHEREAS, tt�e project is witl�in a Planned Development zoning; and WHEREAS, tlie Planning Commission makes recommendations to the City Council on issues within a Planned Development zone; and WHEREAS, Conditional Use Permit Case No. 84-368 and Architectural Review Case No. 85-328 permitted development of a Church at 900 Oak Pack Boulevard; and WHER�AS, The Church tias requested permission to install relocatable classrooms as a cost efficient way of temporarily providing needed classroom space; and WH�REAS, The Church has further requested that the City provide an interpretation of whether the proposed relocatable classrooms could be constructed under the previously approved Conditional Use Permit and Architectural Review; and WI��REAS, the Platining Commission, after due researc}i and deliberation finds that: 1. � 3. The previous approvals did not consider, evaluate or analyze the effect of installation of relocatable classrooms. Relocatable classrooms need to be reviewed to address a variety of issues including, but not limited to parking, aesthetics, fire protection, and site planning. The City has consistently required approval of a conditional use permit piior to installation of any similar relocatable building. NOW, TH�REI�'ORE, B� IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Arroyo Grande hereby recvmrnends the City Co.uncil make the interpretation that installation of relocatable classrooms is not permitted under Conditional Use Permit Case No. 84-368 and Architectural Review Case No. 85-328. New applications fvr an Architectural Review and Conditional Use Permit must first be reviewed and approved before relocatable classrooms are installed. Oti motion of Commissior�er Soto, seconded by Commissioner Deviny, and by the following roll call vote; to wit: AYES: Commissioners Tappan, Soto, Carr, Deviny and Keen NOES: Commissioner Beck ABSENT: Commissioner Hatchett the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted tl�is 6th day of June, 1995.
